The BRISK Design Bureau obtained RMRS approval for the Taurus conversion project in South Korea. The decision confirms compliance with international safety standards. After completion, the vessel will be able to both harvest crab and transport live catch under optimal conditions, improving operational efficiency.

BRISK LLC has supplied a seawater cooling system for the live crab carrier Taurus, currently undergoing modernization in South Korea. Highly automated, reliable, and easy to maintain, the system also provides fresh seawater supply depending on outside temperature. Installation and commissioning are currently being carried out on board by technical specialists.

The project aim was to analyze the vessel`s design and equipment to ensure it meets the following requirements of regulatory documents: The International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (IC SOLAS-74), with amendments.
