Starting air compressors are devices used to supply compressed air into the cylinders of a vessel’s main engines during their startup. They play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation of the vessel’s machinery and the safety of navigation.
During the project development, specialists from Brisk LLC conducted a detailed analysis of the vessel’s existing systems and equipment. This made it possible to create a project that complies with the requirements of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) and all necessary safety standards and regulations.
Replacing the starting air compressor will ensure more reliable operation of the vessel and enhance its safety.
The project has already received approval from the customer and RMRS and is ready for implementation.
The compressor replacement work will be carried out in the near future.
