The BRISK Design Bureau has successfully finalized and obtained approval for the project to convert the fishing vessel Taurus into a modern live crab carrier. The approval was issued by the South Korea branch of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS).
This marks an important milestone, confirming full compliance of the project with international safety standards. All conversion works at the shipyard are carried out under the supervision of RS inspectors and are now nearing completion.
Once finalized, the vessel will be able not only to operate in crab fishing but also to ensure the safe transport and preservation of live crab, significantly boosting efficiency and market value. After completion, Taurus will receive the necessary class certificates and head out for fishing operations.
