On April 16, 2021, a meeting chaired by Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Fisheries (FAR), Petr Stepanovich Savchuk, was held in Vladivostok, dedicated to the resumption of Antarctic krill fishing and the construction of fishing vessels. Brisk Design Bureau presented a vessel design specialized in expeditionary krill fishing, which has a built prototype, the Shen Lan, for the Chinese company CMI.
